Sacks Issue-29; SNG Cop-222; BMC-7. Stephanophoric type. Obverse: Laureate head of Apollo right; Reverse: Apollo standing right, holding phiale and laurel branch; monogram to left, omphalos and amphora at feet; all within laurel wreath. Struck on a rather broad flan as is the case for these types, this specimen yields an incredibly deep cabinet tone. A few scattered marks are noted, but blend in quite seamlessly.
