PTOLEMAIC EGYPT. Ptolemy III Euergetes, 246-221 B.C. AE Tetrobol, Alexandreia Mint. NGC F.

Svor-974; CPE-B366; SNG Cop-224-6 (Ptolemy IV). Obverse: Diademed head of Zeus-Ammon right; Reverse: Eagle, with head right, standing left on thunderbolt; filleted cornucopia over shoulder, E between legs. This nice piece displays strong details on relatively clean surfaces that bear a light verdigris.
