MYSIA. Kyzikos. EL Hemihekte (1/12 Stater) (1.35 gms), ca. 550-450 B.C. NGC VF, Strike: 3/5 Surface: 2/5. Countermark.

Nomisma-VII, 112; Boston MFA-1489; cf. SNG BN-253 (stater). Obverse: Nude male kneeling left, holding tunny by its tail; Reverse: Quadripartite incuse square. Lightly toned, with a bit of off centering on the obverse and a wedge-shaped countermark behind the nude male.
