MEXICO. Cob 8 Reales, ND (1589-98)-Mo F. Mexico City Mint. Philip II. NGC AU-50.

KM-43; Cal-type 194. Weight: 25.57 gms. A broadly struck, heavy, and very well detailed Cob, with clear mintmark and assayer letter. A fair amount of the peripheral legend is also visible. The fields are toned a dark grayish-brown, contrasting with the lighter raised devices.
