SWEDEN. Sextet of Nobel Laureates Bronze Medals (6 Pieces), 1973. GEM UNCIRCULATED.
A boxed set of bronze medals to honor the Nobel laureates from 1973 that was limited to a maximum mintage of 900 sets. Of note, this year featured the controversial dual selection of Henry Kissinger and Le Duc Tho as the peace recipients, for their contributions to a ceasefire in Vietnam. This ceasefire was broken by both North and South Vietnam shortly thereafter, with the fighting continuing for two more years after this medal was awarded. A neat set for the many collectors of Noble medals and memorabilia. Includes certificate of authenticity, # 134.
