Obverse: Oval medallions containing inward-facing portraits of Haret and Emmanuel; foliage around; Reverse: Nude female seated facing, raising torch; books of famous astronomers and mathematicians to left; locomotive to lower left, battle scene to lower right; veduta and industrial scene in background. Edge : A few light marks, otherwise plain. Olive-brown surfaces, with some minor spotting.
