1892 Liberty Head Half Eagle. MS-64+ (PCGS). CAC.
Stunning reddish-rose surfaces exhibit intense mint luster in a bold frosty texture. Sharply defined, as well, with undeniable originality. The 1892 is an underrated condition rarity in the finer Mint State grades, as here. The typical Uncirculated survivor from a mintage of 753,480 circulation strikes grades MS-62 or MS-63, with the occasional MS-64 appearing in the market. This near-Gem in PCGS MS-64+ represents an important bidding opportunity for gold enthusiasts.
