One of only two known Series 1882 Date Back $5 known from this popular Ulster County bank, the rough top edge and slight discoloration on the back are compensated for by the overall fresh appearance and superior centering. The other known example is fairly heavily stained on both front and back. This note brought $881 in its last auction appearance in January, 2013. PCGS Currency comments "Minor Edge Damage; Minor Discoloration on Back."
