Only three Brown Backs from the Tipp National Bank of Tippecanoe City, OH are presently known. This well-worn example certainly "made the rounds" in its day, and likely purchased lots of stuff! Toned a medium tan with a bit of roughness at the top border, it is nonetheless free from any repair or restoration, and survives today in the state at which it ended its circulating life. The pen signatures remain visible and mostly legible.
