1889-CC Morgan Silver Dollar. MS-61 (NGC).
Significant is the numismatic auction that offers multiple Mint State examples of the fabled 1889-CC Morgan silver dollar. This NGC-certified coin combines an untoned reverse with an obverse dressed in light silver and gold patina. Semi-reflective fields are more pronounced on the latter side, the design elements frosty throughout. Well struck with all features boldly to sharply rendered, wispy handling marks do little more than define the BU grade. Eagerly awaiting inclusion in an advanced Morgan dollar set.
