Fr. 1021b. 1914 Red Seal $50 Federal Reserve Note. Kansas City. PMG Very Fine 30.
A mega-rarity for the Red Seal FRN collector, as just seven serial numbers are recorded in Track and Price for the variety. Four of those have been graded by PMG, with three at the VF 25 level, and this VF 30 is Top Pop. The red third prints stand out in a lovely cherry-red color, and contrast quite nicely against the black design details and white paper. We have not offered this Friedberg variety to our bidders in the past two decades, and are excited to finally do so tonight. PMG Pop 1/None Finer.
