Obverse: Richard, holding sword and shield, standing facing in ship with bowsprit; ornaments: 1-1-1-1, ropes: 3/1, quatrefoils: 5/5, lis: 4/3; stops: double saltire, voided quaterfoil above sail; Reverse: Voided short cross potent over cross fleuree; in each angle, crown over lion passant over trefoil; at center, R within quadrilobe; all within polylobe, with trefoils in spandrels; stops: double saltire. A bit of a die shift is noted on the obverse of this near-Mint Noble, offering majestic brilliance and an alluring golden-orange hue throughout.
