Description

Sheet of (3). NC-136b, NC-139 & NC-139. North Carolina December, 1771. 2s6d-1p-10s. PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ.

No. 28039. Signed by John Harvey, John Rutherford, Lewis DeRosset, and Richard Caswell. Seen with wide margins and excellent centering. A superior example of one of the more available colonial-era uncut sheets. These were essentially all bundled through a hole in the top note which is why they are so available. With that said, PMG has not bothered to mention anything of the sort because there was not any reason to do so. This Gem Unc 66 EPQ grade level is as high grade as we find. We recently sold another at this same grade level for $1,320.

Estimate: $1000.00-$1500.00
