GREAT BRITAIN. James I Coronation Silver Medal, ND (1603). PCGS Genuine--Scratch, Unc Details.
MI-191/11; Eimer-80A. Possibly by C. Anthony. Obverse: IAC I BRIT CAE AVG HAE CAESARVM CAE D D, laureate, draped, and armored bust right; Reverse: ECCE PHAOS POPVLIQ SALVS, crowned lion rampant, with head facing and holding beacon lamp and bundle of wheat. A SCARCE coronation medal, the present specimen offers a supremely charming appearance with sharp details and deep toning across the flan. Escaping all signs of circulation or handling, the only minor fault is two light scratches behind the bust of James. Deserving of a plethora of excited bids from the specialists in the series.
