BRITISH HONDURAS. British Honduras - Mexico. Dollar (6 Shillings 1 Penny), ND (1810-21). George III. PCGS EF-45.
KM-4.1; Prid-3; EL-BH3. Countermark: Incuse crowned script GR. Applied to the obverse of a 1810-Mo HJ Mexico armored bust 8 Reales of Ferdinand VII (KM-110). This nicely preserved and richly toned example displays an attractive slate gray in the peripheries and amongst the devices while the exposed areas feature a mottled gray coloration. The countermark is deeply impressed, even and clear on a wholesome looking host with plenty of remaining details.
