KM-28; Gomes-Jo.28.05. Issued by decree of 20 August 1765 under Governor Baltazar Manoel Pereira do Lago. Countermark: Ligate MR incuse. Applied to the reverse of a 1750-Mo MF Mexico "Pillar" 8 Reales of Ferdinand VI (KM-104.1). The countermark remains quite strong and appealing, with a light green tone contained within, while the host coin displays fairly even handling and a gunmetal gray allure.
