AUSTRIA. 2 Talers, ND (1626). Hall Mint. Archduke Leopold V, with Claudia de' Medici. NGC AU-58.
Dav-3332; KM-641. Weight: 57.06 gms. An impressive double-sized issue from late in the reign of Leopold as Archduke, this attractively toned and lightly handled crown also features his wife, Claudia de' Medici, whom he married in 1626 after resigning his ecclesiastic roles as Bishop of Passau and of Strasbourg.
