NEW ZEALAND. Bank of New Zealand. 1 Pound, ND (1888-98). P-S202s. Specimen. PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ.
Printed by BWC. Specimen perforated. PMG's population report lists three examples of this catalog number graded by their service, with this one being tied for the finest known with a single note. Counterfoil attached at left. This large format 1 Pound specimen retains vivid color at center, with an ornate design making up the border. The reverse boasts detailed lathe work, with counters at left and right, and a river scene at center. PMG Pop 2/None Finer.
