GERMANY. Medallic Issues. East Germany. Martin Luther as "Junker Joerg"/450th Anniversary of the Reformation Gold Medal, 1967. PCGS MS-67.
cf. Brozatus-1595 (silver); Schnell-401; cf. Whiting-925 (silver). By W. Rosenthal. Diameter: 27mm. Obverse: Bearded bust of Martin Luther in disguise facing slightly right; Reverse: Legend in two lines within circular legend. Exceedingly brilliant and radiant, with a subtle rose-gold color to the palette.
