PARTHIA. Phraates IV, 38/7-2 B.C. AR Drachm, Ekbatana Mint. NGC Ch AU.
Sellwood-52.10. Obverse: Diademed bust left; to right, eagle left, holding wreath in beak; Reverse: Archer (Arsakes I) seated right on throne, holding bow; monogram below bow. A sharp Drachm with a bold portrait of the Parthian ruler. The reverse legends remain highly legible and the surfaces display light toning with abundant luster.
