1923-S Mercury Dime. MS-65 FB (NGC).
Delightful Gem Full Bands quality for this semi-key date, conditionally challenging issue in the early Mercury dime series. Otherwise silver-tinged, the surfaces exhibit bold swaths of steely-rose and cobalt blue patina toward the left borders. Both the striking quality and surface preservation are superior in a survivor of this 6,440,000-piece delivery.
