1895 Barber Half Dollar. Proof-64 (PCGS).
Warm mauve-gray patina with intermingled reddish-apricot iridescence very much in evidence as the surfaces rotate under a light. From a Proof mintage of just 880 pieces, high quality survivors of which are always in demand for specimen type purposes.
