1909 Indian Half Eagle. MS-65+ (PCGS). CAC.
This vivid and beautiful example offers a blend of reddish-rose color and appealing mint luster. The strike is razor sharp down to the lowermost feathers in the Native American's headdress, and the surfaces are predominantly smooth with truly memorable eye appeal. If the PCGS MS-66 coin in the preceding lot proves elusive, this nearly as rare MS-65+ from the same certification service would also make an outstanding addition to a top-flight 20th century gold type or date set.
PCGS# 8513. NGC ID: 28DH.
PCGS Population: 11; 13 finer (MS-66+ finest).
