1883 Liberty Seated Half Dollar. Proof-64 (PCGS).
Light pearl-gray central toning gives way to multicolored peripheral iridescence that is most vivid when viewed with the aid of direct lighting. Given that the circulation strike 1883 half dollar has a low mintage, attractively original Proofs such as this are always in demand for inclusion in high grade Liberty Seated date sets.
