Description

1884 Liberty Seated Half Dollar. WB-102. Repunched Date. MS-64 (NGC).
Richly original toning with iridescent undertones of antique-gold, champagne-pink, and powder blue to dominant olive-charcoal. The low mintage Liberty Seated half dollar issues of 1879 to 1891 are always in demand among specialized collectors, and this sharp and lustrous Choice Mint State coin is a desirable survivor from the circulation strike 1884 issue. Closer inspection with a loupe confirms the WB-102 through repunching to the base of the digit 4 in the date.
PCGS# 6366. NGC ID: 24KX.

Estimate: $1500
