Fr. 247. 1896 $2 Silver Certificate. PMG Very Fine 30.
An unusually attractive VF example of the $2 Educational with a light center fold about the only real evidence of use. Close inspection reveals a few more very light folds, but overall the note presents itself easily as a higher grade. The popularity of the Educationals cannot be overstated and this conservatively-graded note is a most affordable offering.
