With fresh, bright paper, and a rich blue overprint, this attractive 1902 Plain Back $10 from the Broadway National Bank of Paterson, NJ would fit nicely into any collection of lightly circulated Nationals. Open merely for four years (1925-29) only 1902 Plain Back $10s and $20s were issued. Just three light and faint folds attest to the grade. Auction appearances are few and far between, with the NBN census noting one appearance in 1945, a pair sold over 40 years ago in 1982 and a single offering in 2018.
