Belgian Congo's 50 Francs issued from 1953 to 1955 is a key note for this series and for the entire country. It is especially rare in Uncirculated grade, and in fact, this is the highest graded example PMG has graded for all dates combined. Its issuance was small compared to the lower and higher denomination flanking this note, and for whatever reason, few were saved for posterity.
