Fr. 351. 1891 $1 Treasury Note. PMG Superb Gem Uncirculated 67 EPQ.
This Stanton Ace is found in a remarkable Superb Gem Uncirculated grade with appealing centering, bright paper and vivid ink standing out. The reverse of the note displays an intricately lathed design, which is found in dark green ink. In our recent Spring 2023 sale, we sold Fr. 352 in the same grade for an eye opening $10,200! We would not be surprised if the final figure to attain this note reaches a similar number. PMG comments "Great Embossing & Color". PMG Pop 3/None Finer.
