Loaded with 1 LTC. A formidable bookend to the 4-coin Lealana Litecoin Pattern set being offered in this sale. A lesser-graded example of another Pattern variety sold for $2,040 in our March 2023 auction, and we certainly expect considerably greater interest for this Top Pop MS-68 (PCGS) piece. The overall format of this piece is similar to the regular variety of this issue, struck in a Nickel Brass alloy with the Litecoin symbol at the central reverse and a holographic security sticker on the reverse. The vibrant red Firstbits address on the reverse is unseen on any official public releases. Closer inspection will also reveal that the full public address and serial number have been laser engraved around the edge of the reverse, which is a technique that did not see wider usage in the Lealana series until recent years. This coin is being presented as part of a unique 4-coin set #138 of pattern Lealana litecoins offered individually in the neighboring lots. These have been sourced directly from the Lealana Archives, a private treasure trove of experimental and unique creations by Lealana that were never announced or released publicly. Each coin showcases myriad special finishes, security enhancements, and other unique features that exemplify the innovative techniques and approach that are signature to the Lealana series. Many features on this 2013 Pattern set have later gone on to be utilized on official releases. Every coin in this set is accompanied by a matching Certificate of Authenticity issued by Lealana which outlines the characteristics and public address for each particular coin. These COAs have been individually hand-signed by Noah Luis, creator of the Lealana series, and feature an authentication hologram that was not included on the standard certificates.
