Obverse: Uniformed portrait of the protector Max Egon of Fürstenberg facing left, oak sprig below; Reverse: Coat of arms of Neustadt im Schwarzwald flanked by two wild men against a backdrop of an ermine mantle. A very attractive medal in a matte finish with cerulean peripheral toning on the obverse and subtle champagne toning in the reverse legends.
