Fonrobert-9567. Diameter: 28 mm. By unknown artist. Struck to commemorate the Belzu Proclamation. Obverse: Fleeing criminal to right, sword coming from clouds to left, cliff and waves below; Reverse: Liberty with youth and baby, looking to radiant sun right. Steely gray surfaces with brown lines in the fields of the obverse that somehow match the momentum of the figure they surround. Holed just shy of 12 o'clock, neatly replacing the "P" in "PERSIGUE".
