Description
1814 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-103. Rarity-1. AU-58 (NGC).
Essentially untoned with just a hint of deeper gray patina circling the borders. Notable mint-caused die clash is seen in the fields on each side. This is the variety with raised "bar" connecting the eagle's dexter wing with the scroll above. A pleasing example of the date and grade combination, with only a few minor marks noted under magnification.
