Suspended from that is a figural piece of a rescue team in a rowboat attending to a victim. The lowest part of the badge is comprised of the U.S. Volunteer Life Saving Corps logo, the back inscribed to the recipient WILLIAM DAVIS / EAST RIVER / APRIL 10 1920.
