Casabonne-Series IV; SNG Levante Supp.-18. Obverse: Ba'al of Tarsos seated left on throne, head and torso facing, holding lotus-tipped scepter; below throne, astragalos below strut; Helmeted and bearded head left, with drapery around neck. Despite some fairly typical off-centering of strike and the noted edge filing, the present example remains a rather charming and pleasingly toned representative of the type.
