These are also the first British coins to feature The Queen's signature in a detail that unites all three reverse designs of the series. The flag-themed reverse design by P. J. Lynch represents the Commonwealth nations and features an inscription that reads HER COMMONWEALTH OF NATIONS. The edge inscription DEVOTED TO YOUR SERVICE is inspired by a speech delivered by Her Late Majesty for her 21st birthday.
