Among a small handful of $5 Brown Backs recorded for this Pike County charter in Northeastern Pennsylvania by the National Bank Note Census, the present examples represents the finest example of its type certified by PMG. Bearing the eloquently penned signatures of Cashier John Curtis Warner and President Abraham D. Brown, the eye appeal and originality of this offering cannot easily be understated. Bright paper, bold overprints, and richly engraved details abound and radiate through the encapsulation, all traits that deftly demonstrate the desirability of Brown Back Nationals.
