1873 Liberty Head Double Eagle. Close 3. MS-60 (NGC). CAC. OH.
Scarcer than the Open 3 variant in Mint State, this is a boldly lustrous, flashy and brilliant, MS-60 example that was graded ages ago. The vivacious surfaces show some minor ticks accounting for the assigned grade, but they do not detract from the sharp strike and bold eye appeal that this Brilliant Uncirculated example possesses.
