Hessler-17. India paper mounted to card. Color back proof. Sawhorse design with classic US of A at center and cross with outlined UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Exceptional styling. A design that would serve from the 1874 series until the transition of the small-size notes of 1928. Although it features one of the most available back designs for large-size currency, as a proof it is exceptionally rare.
