Description

1885-O Morgan Silver Dollar. MS-65+ (PCGS). CAC.

This Gem from the infamous Roadrunner Collection displays intricate obverse toning of olive-green, glowing magenta, and splashes of cobalt-blue. This toning pattern is likely from this coin being the "end coin" of a paper roll for many years, showing the folds of the paper that was once held tightly against the surface. A truly interesting piece for the toning enthusiast.

PCGS# 7162. NGC ID: 254T.

From the James DeAngelis Collection. Earlier ex The Roadrunner Collection.

Estimate: $2000
