Description

1901 Morgan Silver Dollar. MS-62 (PCGS).

This is a nearly Choice quality example of this key Philadelphia Mint is lustrous with a delicate suffusion of pearly-dove and faint gold iridescent toning on the obverse, while the reverse shows some multicolored peripheral accents and lilac-rose tinges throughout. Pleasing striking detail overall with just a tad of weakness on Liberty's hair curls, this is a generally pleasing and original example of this coveted condition rarity.
