Obv: Bust of Washington right with the motto IN GOD WE TRUST above and the date 1866 below. Rev: The same design that the Mint used to strike regular issue Shield nickels of the With Rays type. A lovely specimen, lightly and evenly toned in golden-gray over semi-reflective surfaces. Judd-473 is a scarce and perennially popular type with both pattern collectors and Washingtoniana specialists.
