A rare series in its own right bearing the engraved signatures of Treasurer Georgia Neese Clark, and Treasury Secretary John Wesley Snyder, the addition of the "Star" at the end of the serial number indicating that the present example is indeed a replacement note adds an additional layer of desirability to an already scarce Friedberg. Representing the finest of 4 known, this example from the Atlanta district presents a rare opportunity for the replacement specialist to add a rare and seldom-seen issue to their registry set.
