FRANCE. Constitution. White Metal Reverse Cliché or Trial for 15 Sols, Year 3-A (1791). Paris Mint. Louis XVI. PCGS MS-62.
Maz-215 (R4). Weight: 2.34 gms. Struck upon a mostly square-shaped planchet, this reverse trial presents a light, steely gray hue with a good deal of brilliance residing among the fields. EXTREMELY RARE and attractive.
From the Richard Margolis Collection (acquired from Jean Vinchon in Paris on 7 September 1971). Ex: Emile Dewamin Collection (Florange - 6/1901) Lot # 33.
