COLOMBIA. Banco de Medellin. 10 Pesos, ND (1880s). P-S594s.DP 7268. Specimen. PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ.
10 Pesos denomination from this series seen here in specimen format. The sole finest example in the PMG population report with a light green color. Fully printed specimen including counterfoil at left to be retained by the bank upon issue. Typical BWC perforation is seen. Like the rest of the series we believe this was prepared in the early 1880s, not 1895 as indicated by PMG. One of just two specimens in the PMG population report, with just the finer of the two. Fantastic originality and eye-appeal and a high quality BWC product produced for this popular issuer.
