Undated (ca. 1920?) George Washington Plaque. Bronze. Extremely Fine.
8.25 inches x 5.75 inches (plaque); 9.5 inches x 6 inches overall. Marked C/PSC in a circle, which might point to the Philadelphia Sketch Club, founded in 1860, though this is uncertain. Light greenish olive bronze with some slight variations in the patina. A nicely accomplished portrait of uncertain origin, despite the mark in the lower left. Screw mounted to a wood backing, which has split in two places.
