1908-S Barber Quarter. MS-65 (PCGS).
This is an exceptionally well preserved example of the scarce, conditionally challenging, semi-key date 1908-S quarter. Bathed in soft satin luster, both sides are further enhanced by wisps of lilac-purple iridescence around the obverse periphery and over most of the reverse. Virtually full in strike with silky smooth surfaces, this coin will please even the most discerning specialist in Barber coinage. With Mint State examples of even marginal quality elusive in today's market, the present offering for a solidly graded and aesthetically pleasing Gem should not be overlooked.
