CHILE. Banco Agricola. 100 Pesos, ND (1869-93). P-S112s. Specimen. PMG Choice Uncirculated 63 EPQ.
A lovely specimen for the Banco Agricola of Chile. Seen here with counterfoils, punch hole cancellation and red specimen overprint. This is the only example of this specimen presently in the PMG population report. Printed by the American Bank Note Company, whose print records reveal that 7500 notes of this denomination were delivered to the bank in three batches between 1869 and 1887. The highest denomination issued by the bank and deceptively scarce issuer in any form. PMG Comments "Counterfoils Included."
