URUGUAY. Banco Maua & Cia. 960 Centismos, ND (1861). P-S257p. Proof. PMG Choice Uncirculated 63.
Another proof on cardboard from this important institution and the sole example in the PMG population report. Again, printed by Bradbury & Evans, who printed this proof in uniface format and in black and white. A rather unusual denomination as is the rest of the series. A tear is noted by the grading service but it is rather minimal and stays well clear of the design. PMG Comments "Tear."
