1793 Flowing Hair Cent. Wreath Reverse. S-10, B-10. Rarity-4. Vine and Bars Edge. EF Details--Corrosion Removed (PCGS).
This Wreath cent saw little in the way of actual circulation. Likely a ground find, the surfaces were seemingly burnished at one time to remove corrosion. Rich brown surfaces are not perfect, but show bold definition to the devices. Sheldon-10, as a Rarity-4 is slightly scarcer than other Wreath cent die marriages. A popular and important early large cent, this coin will fit into another advanced cabinet of early American coppers.
